Oh, How He Loves You and Me

OK - Two things right off the bat.
(1) Finally, an invitation that fit... and it made a difference. I can't tell you what a lackluster invitation does for the body. I get so mad at myself, but this one worked. It fit what Brother Donny said, and people responded... not in droves mind you, but they responded. I expected it this week, because I felt like I had finally hit the pitch. God blessed it. YES!
(2) It was a special week because Jason Atchley - former Youth and Music Pastor - was back to sing a special (ha ha - no pun intended). It really was nice to have him back. He did a beautiful job on a nice song.

On the songs this week, I was worried when my keyboardist called on Friday night and said,"I don't think anyone is going to know "Still." I don't remember ever doing it." Normally , he is right on about stuff like this, but I was pleasantly surprised that the body remembered it. I felt it was one of the stronger songs along with the invitation and "Oh, How He Loves You and Me".
The body sang the latter song fantastically, and it fit the theme well.

On the flip side - I don't think we'll ever plug into "Shine your Light". I thought I'd try it again, but I don't think it pushes any buttons here. This was my only complaint this week on my planning...

Thanks again for coming by, and if you want a more detailed confessional - Check out my worship confessional for the week of 3/22.

May your week be blessed and may the Joy of the Lord be your Strength!
Kendall

  1. I can't decide if I should go short or long...haha.

I think I'm reasonably happy with 'long' since I split it into sections for easy navigation!

    Bless you Kendall!
